The velour tracksuit seems to be staying put in stores unlike other trends. For the past few years there have been variations on the velour tracksuit in every major high street shop. Two years on the fashion scene is an age in modern styling.

Celebrities started wearing velour tracksuits first. Britney Spears used pink velour tracksuits for her bridesmaids in her wedding to K-Fed. Then the WAGs began sporting velour tracksuits during international football games.

Now everyone likes velour tracksuits, from high street to designer. They are so liked because they are stylish while being comfortable. But you should only wear a good quality velour tracksuit. You do not want it to shrink or get too big when it is washed. Likewise you do not want to see the colour fading. The Tracksuit will be more trashy than trendy if the quality is bad.

For adults darker colours work best otherwise you may end up a little like mutton dressed as lamb. Pinks, light blue and green are not for the over 20s. Navy, dark grey, brown and black are flattering.

On the other hand, children look brilliant in bright colours. Clothes which are comfy, practical and fashionable are hard to find for young girls. When you can get all three in one outfit you have found a winner. Children like wearing them because they are so easy to pull on and get off before and after swimming and other popular activities.

So with this in mind, take a look at tracksuits offered by different retailers. You will find some are better quality than others are. Quality can be found at retailers who socialise in other velour clothing as well. The tracksuits should be reasonably priced, do not pay over
